Jones & Company, Ltd. was established December 1, 1975 by Phil Jones, CPA. Northeast Arkansas immediately embraced the company, and it grew quickly. New partners were added in 1978, 1984, 1991, 1994 and again in 2011.

After using a couple of different firm names over the years, the current name of Jones & Company, Ltd. was adopted in 1992 and continues to honor the memory of Mr. Phil Jones, our founding shareholder.

The continuous growth of the firm required the partners and staff to seek out larger facilities, which led to the firm's relocation in February, 1999, to 501 Southwest Drive in Jonesboro.

The shareholders manage the firm as a group guided by the objectives to provide the highest possible levels of service to all clients and provide the firm's staff with opportunities to continue professional growth and reach its full potential.

The shareholders are extremely active in community affairs and encourage the staff to be involved also.

Everyone at Jones & Company, Ltd. promotes the firm concept: clients are served by the firm rather than by individuals. Jones & Company, Ltd. was one of the first CPA firms in the area to volunteer for participation in the American Institute of CPA's highest quality review program and believes in reinvesting resources in continuing education.
